The Minerva unveiled crownless is a stainless steel and rose gold, time-only watch that possesses an especially strong symmetry due to its lack of a traditional crown. The crownless design relies on assigning manual winding and time setting to the fluted bezel, a modern-day innovation inspired by a 1927 Minerva pilot's watch with a rotating timing bezel.
The film focuses on the elegance of the vintage-shaped 41.5 mm stainless steel case, fluted bezel and discreetly concealed lever for switching the bezel's function between winding the movement and time-setting. The open caseback boasts a Manufacture hand-finished manually wound calibre MB 15.08, providing a beautiful counterpoint to the classic minimalism of the dial.
